The 15th International ILIAS Conference took place on 8 and 9 September 2016 in Utrecht and was organised by the Dutch Army in collaboration with ILIAS open source e-Learning e.V.

Main Topics were:

  • Acknowledging  learning activities and competences
  • Motivating high levels of interaction and communication
  • Linking systems and applications
  • E-Learning in the classroom
  • Learning in 2020

Community Award 2016:

Winner of the ILIAS Community Award 2016 is David Boehringer, for his many years of service in building up the ILIAS community, especially in southern Germany, and for the numerous ILIAS enhancements he initiated and financed, such as the E-Learning Community Server. Congratulations!
