Hungarian Dinner in Restaurant Borkatakomba
at Thursday, 12 November 2009, 7 p.m.
In the former wine cellar of the multi-branched cellar system in Budafok, an outskirt of Budapest, the “Borkatakomba Restaurant” (Wine Catacomb Restaurant) was created, which raises a material memory to the ancient, but still operating viniculture tradition. Guests are greeted upon arrival by the master of the house in another wine cellar, close to the restaurant. They will taste a selection of Hungarian wines- helped by the wine-grower of the house - among them a glass from the biggest wooden barrel of the world.
The wine-tasting is followed by a typical Hungarian dinner in the Restaurant „Borkatakomba”, where participants will get acquainted not only with famous Hungarian wines but also with the exquisite Hungarian cuisine.
Along the evening a gipsy band entertains the guests and a short folklore programme is also included.
- Price for one person incl. bus transfer, dinner and drinks is 60€.
- Buses will start from the conference venue at 7.00 p.m and return between 11 and 12 p.m.
