With version 4.2, ILIAS will offer such functionalities not via interface but as core features within the system. The presentation Building on Experience - the E-Portfolio for ILIAS is focusing on requirements, concepts and how ePortfolios can be created and used in ILIAS.

Mit ELBA2 präsentieren ETH Zürich und Uni Bern, wie der Einstieg ins E-Learning leichter gemacht werden kann. Anfänger lernen den Einsatz von Foren oder Wikis in kurzer Zeit. Die Tools sind dabei in ihren Funktionen auf das Wesentliche reduziert. Zugleich stellen Support-Zentren die einzelne ILIAS-Funktionen ohne grossen Betriebs- und Verwaltungsaufwand zur Verfügung.

Open Content in Education

The international project EWITA is showing in Budapest how open content is used for educating professionals for inland waterway transport. Focus within this implementation is the support for heterogeneous target group. In order to meet the needs of every single user an open approach regarding the didactical and technical design within ILIAS had to be created. Read more.

ILIAS 4 Presentation

A first presentation of the new ILIAS version 4.0 will be one highlight of the Budapest conference. At Thursday 12th, Matthias Kunkel will show the new look&feel of this latest ILIAS release and a lot of new or improved features. In the afternoon, a special workshop for the integrated SCORM 2004 editor will be offered to learn more about the new possibilities of creating standard content. New eLAIX Version

Harry Boldt will present the new version of eLAIX in a special workshop at the ILIAS conference in Budapest. eLAIX is an OpenOffice-AddOn to create and export ILIAS learning modules offline. The new eLAIX version 3 allows to export modules with all kinds of formats. And it will support the re-import of ILIAS learning modules in OpenOffice.
